Installing SCSI Cd-Rom in A4000T
« on: November 21, 2009, 04:50:21 PM »
I would like to install a SCSI Cd-Rom in my 4000T which already has a SCSI HDD installed. Is it a matter of selecting a random ID on the CD-ROM (say '4), and connecting to one of the many scsi connectors on the scsi cable which is already connected to the SCSI HDD? Or there is more to that?

Also, what am I supposed to do in WB3.1 to get the drive going?

CHeers!

My query at the moment doesnt regard the actual software, but the setting up the IDs. and termination.

Cheers :) - I will use CacheCDFS from OS3.9 to get Joliet support. As for WB3.1 I assume I have to drag CD0: to devs and configure it to reflect the SCSI ID as the CDROM?

Great thanks. I assume information will be on the CD-Rom as well? The SCSI CD-ROM I bought (I dont have it yet) is a  Panasonic CR-507-B.

You can see the back of the drive here:
