Maximum Compact Flash Size (FAT32)
« on: January 30, 2009, 10:15:14 AM »
Hi,

I want to purchase an 8gb Compact Flash to use with an Amiga 1200 (workbench 3.1). It will be formatted as Fat32.

Will Workbench 3.1 see the partition correctly as its bigger than 4gb, or this will carry the usual problems?

Thanks!

I dont know about scsi.device, but it will be formatted in FAT32 and accessed by FAT95 software.

So, I can just get the 8gb CF card and create 2 x 4gb partitions....

Fat95 allows 8gb no problem. But I would like that Workbench displays the CORRECT amount of free space available.

What do do?  :-o
