Long Filename Support + Large HDD Support
« on: October 05, 2007, 07:06:17 PM »
Having just installed a (60gig!) and cdrom drive with my a1200, I have found two annoying problems:

1. Filenames read from CDRom are being truncated up to 8 digits...
2. Only 8 gigs from the HDD are being 'seen', and with a maximum size of 4 gigs per partition

I appreciate any help :)

Thanks!

"Enter the correct geometry manually when defining the new drive type."

How do I do that? The HDD is 60 gigs in size.

"Without the appropiate software patches you can only use partitions which entirely reside inside the first 4GB of the HDD. If you'd give some details about your hard- and software configuration one could tell you more."

Well I have:

A1200 with 60gb HDD
CDROM SCSI via Squirrel
Blizzard 030/50 with 16 Megs on Board
KS Roms version 3.0
Workbench 3.1

Thanks again for any help :)
