I just went ahead and bought the angle adapter.
The adapters are hand made in the UK somewhere. Sometimes
for a hobby computer you need to cough-up the cash
in respect of folks that take the time to make
custom adapters like this.
If you have the time/energy/tools to make your own adapter
more power to you. Its probably a fun project. However,
lets not poo-poo a piece of hardware because it is out of your price range. Calling something "overpriced" is quite a knock. Have you seen what some stuff goes for on e-bay these days?
