Well it really hits me sometimes when I miss the Amigas and Amiga stuff I sold. For examples Amiga 1200 with Blizzard 1260 and SCSI-2 controller. DPS Personal Animation Recorder, Opalvision. At least I still have my A2000 the very first Amiga I bought from the original owner. I will put it in my will to bury me with it.
Does anyone else have regrets of selling Amiga hardware/ software etc.?
My first Amiga, an Amiga 1000 purchased 2 weeks after Amiga hit the market. It had a supra memory expansion, a spirit memory card, a supra hard drive controller a 1200 baud modem, a digiview and a star color printer. When I moved to Pennsylvania from Panama City, Fl. in 2005 I told the wife to just forget the dozen of computers I had in the garage and throw them out, what a brain fart, I forgot that before leaving I put the Amiga 1000 in the garage, plus my C64 built up for breaking games and all C64 software and my new C128 desktop in the garage, well they all went out in the trash along with the other 10 or so PC's that were in there. She said some guy drove buy and asked if he could take them, and she said yeah take them all if you want them. BTW the A1000 was tower mounted, and had 3 power supplied in there for hard disk control, I spent over 6 months planning and building that A1000 tower.
