Reckon the title should speak for itself... :)

But just in case... that means no Religion, Philosophy, World Disasters, MicroSoft, Apple (especially Apple) and anything non-Amiga in this thread please... :)

(Bet you it can't be done... ;))

Hi,

For a minute here I thought I was at AmigaWorld, but darn it, it's only Franko.
trying to talk Amiga again on the Amiga.org site. What a waste of broadband width

Hi,

I would like to report that the author of this subject matter has failed to release a XXX rating on this post, he is talking about nude Amiga subject matter. This kind of material shouldn't be allowed on Amiga.org

i reckon the amiga is a wee bit ancient for me normal day usage....... :/

Hi,

I wouldn't say that, if you have an old star 1000 color dot matrix printer and a 2400 baud modem, you could possibly download porn shots and print them out in color. I remember I used to be able to do 2 a day with that equipment.

I also enjoyed playing soliton, and mega ball, and was always trying out new versions of doom to see if they will work.

If you like doing data basing you can log in all your Amiga floppies, and pc floppies, I use pen pal for that.

If you are a mod collector you can collect and play mods on your favorite Amiga.

The Amiga still has a lot of use today, it won't be able to play games like fallout3, or surf the internet and show all the video's on the internet, but it all depends what you like to do, be creative, and if you really get tired of it, take one and smack Karlos up alongside the head, and say that one is from smerf for spoiling his trolling fun.

but

then again if you hit Karlos in the head even with a good A2000 the only thing you would break would be the A2000, and that would be a waste of a good Amiga.

You sir, are a genius!

You have invented a new way to get rid of your wife without the messy illegalities of murder or the extremely high cost of divorce!
  :roflmao::lol::laughing:  :rofl: :biglaugh: :cool:

Hi,

@ChaosLord

I don't think any court in the world would convict you for killing your wife, especially if she took your miggy.

We use Amigas every day to process orders..

What type?

A1000, A2000, A3000, A4000, CD-32, CDTV, or SAM440, or minimig.

This has to be a precise answer since we at Amiga.org want to know which Amiga you are using to process orders.

*Sighs*......*fiddle....brushed hands together, hits the power button and sits down to watch*.............fixed  it! Whoop!!!!! One Running Amiga 4000 after a week of cutting out a  leaky battery, dusting, brushing, covering in lemon juice and  alcohol, drying, and putting back together............

Hi,

@LordSpunky,

That is one ugly monitor you have there. No not the one sitting top of the Amiga, the one that is showing the OS 4.0 screen. I would use some black paint and try to cover up that insignia on it. TRULY DISGUSTING.

What is your OS 4.0 running on. I get so frustrated, because I have a Amiga 1200 with a ppc board and can't get OS 4.0 to run on it. I have been thinking lately of just throwing in the towel and doing the one act that I thought I would never do.

BUY AN APPLE PRODUCT

to see what OS 4.0 is really like.

but

which apple product.

Why? :confused:

@Kesa

Because I want to know if they are using one of the newer ones or one of the classics and Franko is probably right it will probably be either an A1200 or an A500, because I forgot them, I know it isn't an A600 since nobody back in the day they came out considered them a real Amiga, we all considered them as a cut down low cost piece of trash.

Only Franko would notice that.

Franko he hasn't replied to our posts we are making about him. I think he has blocked us! :madashell:

Hi,

@Kesa & Franko,

No, I haven't blocked you out, I almost blacked out from laughing so hard.

A piece of bread, and a dead guinny buried badly.

LOL, LOL, LOFL,

but

it is my pet guinny hiding under the straw, but Franko you were a lot closer than Kesa because Jenny is dead, but she is buried out in the yard with her own head stone. She was the sweetest most behaved ginny I ever had. She was smart too!!! you could sit her on the table, give her her food, and she would wait until everyone sat down to eat before she started. Will miss her indeed.

Hey Franko old friend, found out what was causing my A4000 not to work, about a year and a half ago I bought a buddha board from Amigakit, while I was installing it I was eating a snickers bar, guess what I found my snickers bar, it was resting on top of my 68040 CPU. Spent all day licking the snickers off the cpu, dried it out and it works perfectly now.

Last night I tried again to install OS4.0 on my A1200, tried hitting the escape key on the A1200 when turning it on and cannot get the computer to see the PPC rom, I may have to go back to a regular hard drive and disable my CF drive. Will see, I haven't given up yet, would of gotten to it today, but licking a snicker bar off my CPU took a lot of time.

I just spit ginger ale on my keyboard you bastard

Hi,

Sorry about that, know all about that stuff, you take a swig, and it gets in your nose starts to bubble and you spit it everywhere, been there done that.

but

On a happy note, you can buy an Amiga PS2 keyboard module from Amigakit and can use cheap PS2 keyboards on your miggy. Bought one last year I sure did when I had the same thing happen to me, I spit pepsi all over my Amiga keyboard, checked on ebay for another one and found out they where going for $49 and up. So I went to Amigakit, bought a lyra module plugged in one of my old PS keyboards in it and have been happy ever since.

AND

Just think if you happen to spit on your keyboard again, you just lost a cheap, highly replaceable keyboard.

But never, and I mean never place a snickers on your 68040 board, those damn things get hot.
