Hi,
I am married to a wonderful wife, have 2 teen age sons who need a boot up their askum and live quite a boring life. My job involves computes with the gov't, which I can't really say anything about, except that it is an over easy job, run by supervisors who are idiots and know nothing about how the system works or what you do but try to tell you how to do your job, our newest adventure is they hired a bunch of idiots to repair the systems and told us to leave them alone, so when we have a problem we call up the idiots they come over and look at it and ask us what they should do. So we have to teach them the stuff that we aren't allowed to do anymore. Then we get yelled at when stuff don't work.
I started with Amiga 2 weeks after the 1000 came out and have been with them ever since, I do own windows machines but only to play games on, wouldn't trust them for anything else. I use the Amiga since I don't have it hooked up to the internet for all my important stuff since my trusty A4000 hasn't crashed since 1992. It also seems to get stuff done faster than windows boots up. Anyhow glad to see there is a lot of IT iots on the Amiga org forum. Just think if they didn't make windows, you wouldn't have a job. It takes approximately 3 ITiots to keep one windows computer going. Think of all the jobs micro shaft has created. Anyhow I have degrees in Cisco, C++, Windows server and automatic data processing security, and Admistration programming management services, but am doing the job of a button pusher on a computer that repairs military electronic boxes, quite boring.
