Things Are Getting Messy!
« on: December 29, 2004, 11:49:09 PM »
I'm pretty far into tweaking and customizing my OS 3.9 Environment. Having made it safely past a few serious roadblocks, I'm now upgrading and enabling many of my device drivers and software packages for the catweasel, VarIO, and Delfina cards. In the process of doing this, I've actually found better and later versions of drivers for some devices (such as the VarIO), and complete replacements for others, such as when I swapped out the CyberGraphx/Cybervision software for Picasso96. The result of all this has been software sitting on my Amiga that is no longer being used, or, needs to be removed before I can upgrade to the latest version (VarIO). My question: Is there a reliable uninstall routine available to Amiga users? Manually hunting down key files to disable an installation is quickly becoming tedious, and the alternative, just leaving them sit there 'taking up space' is not acceptable, either. :hammer:
