"Crap" is a bit harsh - but yes, they're certainly not up there with the current Intel or AMD offerings. Great for low-power and/or fanless stuff though. I recently got a Gigabyte Mini-ITX motherboard with 1GHz fanless C7 and a 4Gb CF to use as a boot drive, with the aim of building a silent machine, perhaps for AROS...
