Hi,

You can find information on HighGfx on Aminet here.

In a nutshell, it's an AGA chipset monitor driver that provides a variety of screenmodes, the most important for scandoubler use being 1024 x 768 interlaced.

I haven't tried it on my own A1200 so can't really comment on the speed.
