A1200/A600 Hard Drive Installation Guide

Hi,

I'd previously posted this in an existing thread, but think it deserves an entry in this "tutorials" section so that it can be found more easily.

I had some spare time and have created a guide to installing a hard drive in an Amiga 1200 (or 600), along with partitioning it and installing Workbench. The guide can be found here.

I hope it's of use to someone... Didn't realise quite how many screenshots would be required! Slurp and KillRDB were very useful - yes, I grabbed most of the shots on a real Amiga! :crazy:

Thanks for your feedback above.

I may add a separate mini-guide about the Mask and MaxTransfer settings.

As for an OS3.9 install guide, I will consider that when I next have a few hours to spare (but that'll be done under WinUAE as I have no wish to kill my A3000's 3.9 setup!!!)
