Yep - the A1000 has no Gary, and the small daughterboard is its equivalent.

My A1000 also has a further daughterboard containing a RAM upgrade (as far as I remember this plugs into the 68K socket, amongst other things - it's been a while since I've had the case open), and a 256Kb expansion that plugs into the front expansion port.
