Hi,

Does the A1200 have an accelerator in the trapdoor slot underneath?

The composite video output is usually active all the time (e.g. the same with the RF out). And the audio outputs should also be active (when there's sound playing).

@ukbill: it might be worth taking a look at the likes of TUDE, which tries its best to make your A1200 pretend it's an A500.

Once you get a bit more familiar with transferring stuff from other machines to the Amiga, you can grab this and give it a go...

Or perhaps someone in the UK could create a TUDE boot disk and snailmail it to you? I'd do it, but shipping from NZ takes ages!
