€85 sounds like a great price for three A1200s! I'm glad you clarified what you meant by "ditching" the ones you don't want! Personally, I'd keep one spare and sell off one of them - you never know when you might need parts!
Obviously, the A1200 is far more expandable than the A1000, but then again the A1000 is the grand master of all Amigas that followed!
It's easy enough to write out a Kickstart 1.3 boot disk if you want to "upgrade" your A1000 from 1.1!!! All you need is a working 1.3 image and a small program to convert this into a bootable KS disk.
