You can do it, but not from the formatting GUI.

Open a command shell (a.k.a DOS prompt) and type the following:
format a: /t:80 /n:9

This will format a 720Kb disk of 80 tracks and nine sectors per track.

I believe you're referring to TurboG16!

I had a discussion with him in another thread - seems he's got a stock A500 with no Workbench disk, and therefore no easy way of getting stuff to/from Amiga disks.
