Given the age of the game (nearly 20 years!) and the fact that it was originally a type-in listing, I don't think you'll have any problem.
Many people have made PC-based freeware game remakes of commercial C64/Spectrum titles and they seem to be OK. Most of the companies of that era have disappeared anyway...
