Hi,

I've always wondered what package on the Amiga side of things was used to create CDXL movies... Does anyone know?

Also, is it possible to create these on a PC?

Or will anything on a PC read/convert them to AVI or MPEG?

Regards,

Hi,

I look forward to seeing your tutorial!

I'd like to get some of my home video stuff running on the Amiga - just for the sake of it and not for any particular reason! It's currently in MPEG2 format, but I can convert it to something more Amiga-friendly.

I can't find any free tools to create CDXL files, or even any detailed documentation on how the format is constructed - unless I'm looking in the wrong places!

Regards,

You need the "Amiga Developer CD-Rom" by Pantaray Inc....

Hmm... Is it this CD?

If so, Softhut's description makes no mention of CDXL or Pantaray!

Perhaps you could use www.youtube to host your movies…

Thanks for the info. Might put something on there once it's in a usable state... Though I'm only on crappy dial-up at the moment so it may have to wait until I get New Zealand's over-priced over-capped broadband service installed!
