Free stuff! Pickup only.
« on: January 16, 2010, 04:11:30 PM »
I'm giving away stuff.. I don't use it, its taking up space, its got to go. Its pick-up only from Weston-Super-Mare in the UK. If nobody takes it, its going in the bin.

(I will be adding more items to this thread, i have a lot to sort through)

* Aminet CDs 22 to 52, all in good condition in their cases. I won't split these.
* EPIC Interactive Encyclopedia 1997
* A bunch of assorted Amiga Format and CU Amiga cover CDs
* A "kicksoft" copy of drawstudio. I don't have the case for it any more, just the CD.
* An original copy of MakeCD 3.2 including manual (its freeware now anyway, but i figure someone might want it)
* "Total Amiga Assembler" paperback book by Paul Overaa
* A graffiti chunky display adaptor. I've never used it so I have no idea if it works.

More stuff:

* Elbox ATX to AT power supply adaptor (I think its for one of their D/Box towers. I bought it for a project and never used it)
* An ATX power supply with external AC-DC adaptor (its for mini-itx boards originally).
* A laptop CD-Rom with mini IDE to normal 40-pin IDE adaptor attached
* A UW-SCSI to 50-pin SCSI adaptor
* Elbox A1200 keyboard adaptor (works with A2000 keyboards, or PC-AT DIN style. Or, with a standard adaptor, A4000 keyboards, or PC PS/2. I've only ever used it with Amiga keyboards).

BTW, would anyone mind if I added some stuff that is totally non-amiga related to this thread? Old games consoles, that kind of thing?

Seeing as you're giving it away, I don't see why not.

Thanks.

IMHO, you should consider ebaying some of that.

I would but I'm sick of eBaying stuff. Too much hassle.

I know you stated pickup only, but if you wouldn't mind shipping, then I'll take the Aminet CDs (then I'll only have to look for Aminet 1 and 2 to have a complete collection). I'll pay all shipping costs as well as a little extra for the trouble of packing it down. Also looking for  CU SuperCDs if you have any of these.

If no-one offers to collect them, i'll consider it, but i would really rather save myself the hassle.

Craigslist is US only, AFAIK. Edit: Oh I see they've branched out. Anyway, freecycle is more popular and there is one more local to me as well.

I'm going to post all this to freecycle, and my old local usergroup list (usergroup is dead, list still has some subscribers).

I really, really don't want to ship anything.
