The problem with the Amiga "community" is not that it is one big seething bowl of hate and rage, its that there is a very loud minority acting like complete assholes and ruining it for everyone else. The people that threatened the author of Hollywood are just unbelievable... Its sickening it really is.
Also there is no such thing as neutral ground, you are either one one side or the other - 1 or a 0, dead or alive, for or against.
What planet are you from? I mean, I intend to buy OS4 and an AmigaONE. That doesn't mean i'm "against" MorphOS. Sure, I might not be financially supporting them, but if people want MorphOS then thats fine with me, and if people want to write software for both systems, more power to them. They maximise their userbase and everyone wins.
Personally, I'm very interested and excited by the progress of AmigaOS4, MorphOS, and AROS, even if I don't necessarily like the way some of the people from all sides (or at least OS4 and MorphOS camps) have acted.
Don't be so closed minded about these things. After all, if OS4 isn't a success, MorphOS will almost certainly made available for the AmigaONE. If MorphOS isn't a success, I reckon that OS4 port to the pegasos might actually happen. I just wish all the small minded petty idiots hell bent on fighting until theres nothing left to fight for would just shut up and go away...
