OWB on OS4 keeps getting better and better... i hadn't tried it for a while and I just downloaded 1.9 from strohmayer.org, and its really come along.

It now renders directly into an intuition window rather than an SDL surface, its waaaay faster than the old slow builds, it has a proper toolbar built in (i think its using reaction gadgets and AISS).

It hasn't entirely replaced IBrowse yet, but i'll certainly use it to browse CSS based sites.

Really? I thought they'd improved the memory usage by now. People are reporting that 1.9 is usable on os4 classic at least.

I'm sure that will continue to improve.

Its 7z, yes. There is a 7z xad module on os4depot which means you can extract it with unarc, or there is a port of 7za if you like the CLI.

1.9 removes the Cygnix dependency, and also the URL field is now a proper reaction gadget so no more blanking out. Its also much faster and generally better.

I submitted a grab to the photo database, so hopefully that'll be approved soon.

Unarc is the archiver on the toolbar that came with OS4 :-)
