If you really want decent 3D performance with an 060, you really need an A3000 or A4000, a mediator and a Voodoo.
On my 4k, Quake 2 is fully playable, even though I only have an 060...
If you are talking about 2D performance, really Zorro II is not very good. Once again, a Zorro III or Mediator 3000/4000 would come in handy...
Ofcourse, ideally, you want a PowerPC, too :-D
