I'm sorry but I didn't really get what you meant, did the Amiga start from the Install 3.0 disk?
If it did could you access the HD from it? If not did you see the partitions coming up as DH0:
? or did you get nothing at all?
And what do you mean by unformat the disk? Some more information would definitely help.
