Have any of you guys ever tried Debian? I think it's the best Linux dist by far. I have never tried Mandrake though but I think Red Hat has to much magic going on, auto-detection of hardware and that kind of stuff (which have crashed on me more than one time).
Debian might seem a bit hard in the beginning compared to Red Hat and those other dists that wants to attract Windows users :-D but once you get used to it it's lovely :-)
