Additionally, you may want to check your PSU - 12.7 V is a bit much for my taste...
The digital RGBI signals, when measured with a simple multimeter, depend highly on the color mix displayed. They're TTL level, so a light output would measure close to 5 V, a dark one close to 0 V. I guess, the messed up _CSYNC caused your troubles - good job!
