Termination on the A590 turned off? When it's in the middle of the chain it mustn't be terminated. C= SCSI is always scsi.device and ID 1 seems correct according to the SysInfo shot. IDs are arbitrary but must be unique. Have you tried the drive somewhere else? Does the LED stay lit?
