The easiest way is to hook up a drive on ID0, even if it's empty apart from RDB (which must be marked 'last drive' of course). Otherwise you'll have to wait for 7 ID scans to time out.

There's probably a way to do it without a drive - have you tried simply removing the WD33C93? Alternatively you can probably 'short circuit' the bus so the initiator handshakes itself on everything. Short _BSY to _ACK?
