Actually a real
Bernoulli
drive is a disk system with removable media - these should work directly just like a ZIP drive (its successor).
Also marketed under the same name (AFAIR) where Bernoulli
tapes
, which you'll need tape software for.

That's the removable disk system. You should be able to partition and format a disk with the GVP HD prep software.
