Actually there are methods to squeeze in a bit of extra RAM - but only small amounts, hardly worth it.
If you're running a 1 MB Agnus, there's a way to add up to 1.3 MB pseudo fast RAM, there are/were a couple of A500 boards around.
On an A2000 you could alternatively use the Ranger board from an A2000A model, (up to 1 MB) - I've been told that it also works in later A2000 models (1 MB chip required to avoid collision).
In general Piru's right - of course. With a 68000 or EC020 there's only 16 MB total memory space that can't be overcome. An accelerator's CPU expands that to 4 GB where there's plenty of space to add RAM, depending on the card/mobo.
