I remember a PD game where you had to use a GUI to manually wire up a little junebug to find food and avoid spiders and such.  I can't seem to find a link for it at the moment, though.  Shame, it was really a good educational game for children.  (And the last levels were somewhat challenging for teens to adults, too.)

There's also IBM's Robocode, which is java-based and totally free.  It's more coding intensive than the others, but also has competitions with other users bots, etc.

As far as Mindrovers goes, it looks like they want you to pay to download it.  Personally, it didn't look interesting enough for me to pay to try it.
