Gosh. I looked at some of the high-res pictures, and it doesn't look homemade to me. Just check out the scrennprinting on the black front-panel and the cut-outs on the ports at the back! The guy who made this sure had a little factory handy...it has to be some sort of mass-produced case. Probably only sold in Germany?
Well, I originally thought it was a
Checkmate A1500 case customized. But looking at the pictures in the BBOAH, maybe not. It's a mystery, for sure. I don't know if the screenprinting is real or if it was made with stick-on letters. Either way, though, it all looks very nice. Someone spent a LOT of time on it, back in the day!

Yeah... but that's expensive. And tough to explain to the fiancee'. I can't just quietly sneak it into my collection and then magically pull it from the closet a couple weeks later. ;-)
