RAM: disk is always only as large as the files it contains.  Therefore, it always has 0% free.  It dynamically resizes to whatever it contains.  

RAD: (aka, the Recoverable Ram Disk) can be mounted as a fixed size and will show a proper % free.

Your free RAM is displayed at the top of the workbench screen.
RAM: disk can size up to this as needed.
