How I can now if the ram simm I have bought are 3,3v or 5v?
I know Bppc memory works at 5 v, but Mk2 is working at this range too?
I believe the index key (the little cut out part in the middle of the SIMM) shows the voltage. I don't think you can seat a 3.3v SIMM in a 5.0v socket. It won't fit, because the notch doesn't line up with the cut-out.
You shouldn't be able to damage a SIMM that physically fits.
