True, but AUI->10-B-T Trancievers are cheap (sometimes free) nowadays.  Not a big drawback unless space behind the machine is a concern.  And, honestly if that bit of space is a concern, that you'll probably have nasty problems with heat that may make you rethink the enclosure....
