Almost exactly the same thing I did.  I've collected back most of the games and such that I had with my C64... But the BBS software.  My old customized ImageBBS, the CNet-12 pfiles I rewrote, the C= CG art I made, etc...  All gone.  

When I went to the Amiga 500, I sold the C64 games with the C64 computer.  No big deal...  

I kept all my own programming works and BBS archives for a few months...  Then I did something quite stupid...  I split  up my own project disks and gave them all away to a few BBS'ers who were still using the C64/128s.  "Here.  Feel free to use whatever you want to out of my old projects...."  It's all nowhere to be found, now, though.  :-(
