 @amigakit:            Do you have any first hand knowledge on how to transfer a HDF to AF6.
If  they are downloaded in windows , i have no luck in transferring them into HardFile on the Amiga -side ... I have downloaded the file(s) and then opened them with WINRAR and then what ?? When I try to find them , they alway load into AF6 as HD3? which of course not correct....Any good advice. Also have tried to get Ibrowse to work in AF6 , but no luck .

I don't have any HDF except the one that I download and then extracted in WinRAR. and it is now in Amiga Folder.
But when I ask for a HDF, it also comes out as a Amigafolder/Emulation/HDF.............and then in WinUEA is creates a DH3 ......sound familiar ?  No matter what Amiga file it goes into ....when i go to create a path ... the whole path comes up  instead of just {System HDF} and then becomes the DH3 .....

have tried all of the above ? ............ one thing does bother me . why is it that I have used the Task Manager to close almost every program ... the message is : program not responding ... a bug  perhaps ... maybe i should re-install XP , and use a better anti virus .... using Avast anti-virus currently ...

Blobrana;
finally a ray of sunlight has hit me ...since the rom, etc are already in AF6 , i don't need a copy of OS3.1 FLOPPIES? right ..... and now all i have to do is follow the instruction UNTIL I have a workable HDF, formatted and then download that infamous file that i lust over ??? right ....

yes all of the above happened including 100MB?...well its all hindsight now ...somehow it all fell into place ...now there is a icon on the WB screen that says HDF....and I also forgot why i was doing all of this ?  was it about that download ?? if so .... what's the next step .. im afraid to look at the screen sideways ...it all may go away ....

according to some posts ie: no brakes .... maybe XP with sp2 is the reason that AF6 can be difficult to mount ... i realized that when i reloaded XP ... and not downloading sp2 ............... so maybe sp2 doesn't like AF6 ...???? just a thought..
