A500 Clock port

Yes, depends on the requirements of hardware you connect on the clockport: for example Subway (or better the USB stack Poseidon) needs a 68030 at least.

Be aware you could face some incompatibilities depending on the hardware you have on the A500 (eg. accelerators, hard disk controllers, etc), but generally be confident about final results.  

You could use ANAIIS for using Subway on a basic A500, but you will be limited to mouse, keyboards and few stuff I don't remember; USB pen drives are still not supported directly.

Thinking about a clockport for my A500+ as well...

ANAIIS is not the limitated factor.
You can use all external programs designed for the SIRION stack.
A lot of usb2.0 devices are usable with ANAIIS and subway, like usb pen drives, PTP camera, iPad, but these programs are not in the package, and I suppose you guess why.

Mmmhhh... so I didn't understand well...
Since Sirion is the USB stack from Amiga OS4, I think it's limited to PPC architectures...

Sorry for my ignorance, but after installing/running ANAIIS on eg. an A500+ with 68k, for accessing a pen drive, what other program would I need?
Some parts of OS4? But aren't they PPC ones??
Sorry for my stupid question, but it's unclear to me.

It's not so much "from" OS4 as it is "used in" OS4.
68K versions appeared first, intended for use with the Thylacine.

Ahh... I didn't know... and now I remember also the Thylacine: many years passed since its release.
