3.0 does not like hard drive over 4Gb
AOS prefers partitions <= 2Gb
The IDE of the A1200 supports up to 8Gb
AFAIR powerflyer supports large hard drives.

NSDpatch
or buy 3.5 or 3.9 (and 3.1 ROMs)
