OK. Let's see. I would nominate:

Glaucus - for Political Prowess
Karlos - for Chemical Conquests
Cymric - for Quantum Quarkiness
Blobrana - for being Simply Celestial
Fluffy - for his avatar. (I always did like rabbit ... uh, rabbits :-D)
Wilse - for his Cutting-edge Commentary
PMC - for his Historical Hints
Tigger - for his Conservative Contrast
KennyR - for his Scientific Sidelights

ah, yes

X-Ray - for his Medical Missives

Best biking related avatar?

Me.

What? You mean it is not some kind of alien insect? :-D (Took me a couple of weeks to figure out what it was. Had to think back to my Schwinn 10 speed I had 25 years ago.)

@ PMC

Do you do any serious distance biking?  Or are you one of those RICH people that can afford fritter away money on high quality inanities? :-)

@PMC

If you do not mind my asking, what kind of bike do you have?  I grew up with Schwinns and I loved them.  I do not currently have a bike but have been considering getting a good mountain bike.  Can you make any suggestions?

No. Bjjones37 nominated me for 'quantum quarkiness', but I'm not exactly sure yet whether that is a Good or Bad Thing :-D. In fact, I'm not even absolutely sure why I am nominated for that title.

Hint: the last line was a joke.

Come on Cymric, you know I really liked the posts you put up on Quantum Mechanics! :-)

Just visited the "Faces of Amiga" site.  Not a bad looking bunch, once I got over the shock.  I mean, really, am I the Only one that looks like his avatar?  Had a look at PMC's picture.  Figure's.  Really pretty park but the only part of him you can make out clearly is his bicycle!
And Blobsie!  I sure hope she finds her PhD prince someday. I'd send mine up but y'all already know what I look like.  'Sides, I couldn't figure out how. :-D

I'd have to say that I'd want Tigger T Bone Wayne and Cecilia to all get awards simply for challenging my (wrongly) pre concieved ideas about America. Without their help and that of fellow yanks, I suspect I would have a much less open mind about the American people then I otherwise do!

So even if you don't win anything, I thank you all :-)

Well, at least I lived up to your expectations. :-D

You're right! The resemblance is amazing! Got to give credit where credit is due.  BTW, was my coat properly properly brushed for my picture?
Got to get back to my whittling.  But before I go, Merry Christmas Wain. :-)

Told you once already Matt. Stop it, you're making me dizzy. Getting all cross-eyed now.

Merry Christmas Matt. :-)
