The standard A1200 brick should be fine.  I've had mine running with a 2 GB Seagate HD, and an external floppy drive and it was fine.  I think you'll only start to have problems if you put an accelerator in there as well.  And yes, the A500 bricks are more powerful.  (Although I don't know if this applies to all or only some)

LOL, yep, exactly.  I had that setup for quite a few years.  The A500 and A570 are waiting patiently in the cupboard for me to get them out again.   :lol: Might do it when I get cold feet,  :-D
