Actual Visual Basic should be #1 if you ask me.
Programming for the masses, not the classes.

Amiga, no - every platforms needs something so simple and effective and easy to use.

I would love to see an Amiga compiler that could look at a .net solution(source) and compile and Amiga executable.  Visual Studio's IDE is unbeatable.
