Actually it's got 8 launch titles from Ubisoft, 4 from Activision, 4 from THQ, 6 from EA and a couple of dozen from a bunch of smaller publishers.

Some are "launch window" not launch day.

So yeah, it's got ALOT of support.  I guess most of you from outside the USA didn't hear about all the buzz it generated at E3...4 hour wait to try it out...

The Japanese conference held 9-14 had a list of 102 games...

and specifically, a FULL+ PPC chip as opposed to Xenos or Cell...

The Gamecube's was a full PPC G3 with a faster bus (up to 200MHz), extra cache (and programmable), 37 SIMD (ala Altivec) instructions and 2 32bit interger math processors replacing 1 64 bit one.  "Broadway" is 100% backwards compatible with the "Gekko".
