UPDATE: Amiga Kit Please Explain Yourself and Immediate Action is Required
Amiga Kit, you have a profile on Amiga.org; Would you please explain to the community how two coin-cell batteries and a tiny adapter could be shipped to Australia after years of waiting, while the main component remains undelivered?
The total amount paid was £253.25. The main component, a Mediator PCI 4000Di 3V MK-III, priced at £225, remains listed on the order as “Awaiting Stock.”
The customer has been waiting for years, and the main item that was paid for has still not been delivered.
The customer deserves an immediate refund since the main component has not be delivered!
This is Evidence A for the GoFundMe compaign!
I want to be transparent: I have only heard Toddles' side of the story, and I am giving Amiga Kit an opportunity to respond publicly.
If the main component was shipped years ago but the website was never updated, please provide the relevant shipping tracking information. Similarly, if a refund was already issued, please confirm.
Amiga Kit, please respond by Friday October 30, 2026 with a clear answer and a proposed resolution that will bring this matter to a close.
At this point transparency is needed! It absolutely not normal, that a user 10,000+ miles away and another user, 5,000+ miles away have to worry about a company in the UK. I should never have been involved. Can't wait to get this behind me so I can write about the awesomeness of the Amiga. Amiga 4000 owner here!
To the general public: User Toddles bought the following:
-2 coin cell batteries
-a dollar adapter
-and a PCI MK-III card
As of today, Toddles has only gotten the two batteries and the adapter and he has asked for a refund of the amount he paid for the Mediator PCI 4000Di 3V MK-III.
