When it comes to Duce's misgivings to a "app store", tbh I think its a nice touch, and eases access and ability to discover new software.
Take Steam for example. I simply love it on the PC, and most of my games ive bought thru that app. That said; the "coin" thing Im not a big fan of. Maybe Im oldfashion and like the credit card direct method cause of that.
Tho some games for example have started using their own currency to buy features.
Path of exile etc.
So I do applaud phoenixkonsole's efforts.
I should also add that for my point of view, one of the major features of steam is the chat client.
Thats something both amigakit and phoenix should consider.
On that topic;
Steam got it right, origin got it wrong.
Steams screenimpact is small and its very userfriendly.
Origin feels crowded and clunky. I virtually never use it. Even when playing Battlefield i still find myself chatting using Steam.
