That is so strange, never had any kind of probs with my E3B/PSD products... I just installed PSD and it just works!
MUI is an important set of libs, it is essential for many more things than poseidon, so this is not a "strange" requirement...
You should really try OS3.9 , and extract the MUI usr archive with UNARC in RAM: ... then just install it with it's default settings, reboot and all is OK..!
