I was wondering what settings to use, right now all is set to auto, but it does not feel too fast, plus doing a SYSINFO DH0 speedtest, it gives 6.5MB/sec... doing a second leads to a reboot...
I have connected to the Acard 7720UW an 80GB WesternDigital IDE drive , acard had termination disabled and I use 2 LVD/SE terminators....
below is a pic, with the CSPPC settings and the different that UNITCONTROL shows... ?  also SCSICONFIG complains that the  Cyclinder*Heads*Blocks spans more sector than the HD really has
I use the SCSI files found on the Unofficial PowerUp support site... something is terribly wrong, right?

so why the freeze on syspeed???
also, it is IMPOSSIBLE to fit inside the 4000D case the 3,5" HD, do u think that a 2,5" HD converted to 3.5" will work???

ALSO, another dissapointing thing is that even though on the csppc menu I have enabled SCSI Patch, there is still a delay in boot...! I have also disabled all scsi devs except the HD and the CD , but it did not help...

kickflash is disabled, and I use a normal 80GB ide HD + acard ... I was to furstrated with the sysinfo reboot thingie, so I did not really look if it fits in some way... it will be a tight fit though!

no the psu dimensions have not changed... maybe I did not look closer...

so I need an IDE-killer... I don't suppose I can buy one somewhere, right?
thanks for the delay info, btw, I thought something was wrong. I wonder if I put the ide kill module on kickflash...
