I had the same prob, I think I used a res of 640x480 and it fixed the small screen bug... anyway the game is not very playable on the amiga, so if u can't fix it, don't worry...

since when ~27fps is acceptable for a 3DFPS??? even DOOM run on a constant 35FPS...
and if your laptop doctorq runs Q2 at the same speed as the amiga, either check it for probs or throw it away since it is old...  :-D
