Many networks their PC with their Amiga.
The usual setup is:
PCMCIA network card, about $50. Plugs into A1200. You may need a PCMCIA2/3 converter which is easy to get hold of (dunno the specifics).
PCI network card, about $15. For PC, first check so it's not already a mobo feature.
If you are going to network more than two computers, then you need a hub(?).
Software:
MiamiDeluxe or Samba for the Amiga
or Samba for the PC.
Other posters will fill in the gaps I guess. You can also use null-modem, but most people scrap that idea pretty quick when they realize how much better networking is (both easier and faster).
