1084S PSU voltages : help needed
« on: August 31, 2004, 03:00:03 PM »
Hi all,

Could anyone help me ?
I've got a 1084S monitor which is in failure.
I supect the Power Supply Unit to be responsible of the failure.
What voltages shall the PSU deliver on the M2 connector ?
Could anyone confirm the values given in  :

http://staff.washington.edu/rrcc/uwweb/1084PAL1/1084-2.GIF

V1-4 = 125 V DC
V2-4 = 26.5 V DC
V3-4 = 10.5 V DC

When I measure them, I have negative voltages values around -100 V DC !!!

Remark : Power supply input is 230V AC 50Hz

Thx
Remy

Hmmm...
I think I'd better had to check twice my measure before posting anything on this forum.
Thank you for answer DanDude. I've redone my measurement I find quite correct voltages (V3-4 seems to be 16V).
I've to check other parts of my 1084S.

C u on next fool question ;-)

Hi Framiga,

I'm working in electronics (numeric, not analogic...), even if I'm not able to make a correct voltage measurement at the first time :)

I unfortunately never repair TV or monitor, but I know some about it. So I'd like to try by myself first, and hope to build my own experiment in this subject.

Thanks for your help.
