Here is what I would use an A600 for:
It's very portable, get a small LCD screen (w/ RCA inputs)and take it with you wherever you go. Low power consumption means you could run it from your car with an inverter. Play games while you're on a camping holiday.
If you like to do music then it would be useful in dj'ing/performances. Some extra mem would help though.
Alternativley, you could sell the innards to me and your sister will never know that you've sold the gift she gave you.
