Get an 8029 from redrumloa.  I think he sells them for $10.  That's what I use, it works flawlessly.

Your best bet is to get a hardware router/firewall and connect both machines to it.  That way, no dependencies are formed and it will be as fast as ever on either machine.  Just my 2c.

Other than the obvious necessity of the proper driver, does this hold any truth?  I've got an SB Live! I've been thinking about trying out in the Prometheus, and could swear I'd seen a driver for it somewhere.  It's been a  "one of these days..." projects.

Anyone with info plz. let me know.
